Bummin

So Lonnie got Buddy a job and now Buddy hangs out with attractive women. I asked Lonnie if I could get a gig and he told Ellen that to get my number and stuff. Maybe I could get a job there.

JR(this dopey kid that I know) tells me that he's working at CharCo... Because all of the old guys are falling out from the heat... He makes $13.50/hr and doesn't have to drive 3 hours every day. I'm walking to CharCo Monday morning and getting a gig. Failing that, I'm going to go see Cal Thompson and see if he'll teach me how to weld.

If I'm ever to afford a wife and child, I need to make a living that affords me a ratty trailer that I get a discount on.
