Up the corporate ladder
So whenever folks around here ask me about me, the conversation doesn't go much farther than my computer skills... They ask me if I can help them with such and such problem... I try to point them in the right direction.
Of course I always plug Ubuntu for their benefit.
One of the guys that sits around the in one of the offices asked me why I don't get a job as a tech on one of these platforms... I told him that I didn't know how to go about it. He said that he'd tell me about how to go about it :)
I don't know how much a tech makes out here, but it is probably a bunch more than they pay for mopping and doing laundry...
Maybe bigger things are in store for me here on the high seas?
